The mimosas start off promising, but things get a little too Tropicana a little too fast. That said, the presence of Trulys (at brunch!) is a game-changer. Miller Lite's also on deck, though at that point we've moved pretty far from the brunch concept.
Nothing groundbreaking is on offer here, but the menu's fortunately not bankbreaking, either, with classic fare like chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and a three-egg omelette coming in comfortably below $15.
Our waitress kindly heeded our request for Trulys in "any flavor but cherry," and crucially, gave us a warning about the stated 90-minute time limit and then kind of forgot about it anyway.
Walter's street seating is some of the nicer we've seen as the pandemic-outdoor dining surge has dwindled (you can even watch TV from your patio table!); your experience inside is almost entirely determined by whether a nearby stadium is hosting something later that day.
We're like the postmen. We brunch in rain, sleet, or snow
